ALM Dressage

I have ridden for as long as I can remember (since I was three to be exact!). In my younger days I was more of an allrounder competing in showing, XC and showjumping. With previous horses I have evented and competed in showing, dressage and BSJA classes. I developed a passion for dressage when I bought a green 5 year old, non typical dressage horse (Welsh D x TB), he is now competing PSG and working Intermediare I at home.

I am lucky enough to have recently been trained by two magnificent trainers - For the last few years by Gareth Hughes (PSG and Intermediare I National Champion 2007). For anyone not familiar with Gareth his information can be found here and more recently by James Burtwell International rider, trainer and judge - information on James

I am a BD List 3 Judge and regularly judge both affiliated and unaffiliated classes and events, together with horse trials.

I run a small livery/training yard near Newbury, while training a number of different combinations including event horses, pure dressage horses and 'happy hackers' keen to improve their flatwork.
