EQUILIBRIUM Therapy® launches new lightweight, effective and   affordable Massage pad. Recent clinical trials demonstrated that after just 6 weeks of use, this massage pad increased back flexibility, lengthened stride and promoted relaxation.

Horses’ backs come under enormous stress as a result of domestication and riding. The EQUILIBRIUM Therapy® Massage Pad works by stimulating the muscles on the horses’ back, promoting relaxation and improving freedom of movement. Shaped to follow the contours of the horses’ back and provide coverage from wither to quarters, the Pad can be used on all sizes of horse, before or after work or during rehabilitation from injury.

Three different, easily adjustable programs allow the user to choose the intensity of the massage from low, medium and high. Each massage sessions lasts for 30 minutes and the lightweight, rechargeable battery lasts for at least six sessions.

Until now, equine massage therapy involved time and financial commitment in hiring professional therapists, or cumbersome, expensive products with little documented proof of clinical benefits.

I have an Equilibrium massage pad available for clients use either to warm up their horses muscles prior to the lesson (30 minutes), to cool down afterwards (30 minutes) or both. Each session is at a cost of £10 and depending on time restrictions.
